After a four-year championship game drought and a decade as the league's favorite punching bag, Bunk finally got his ring. Beat Leighton in the final after famously declaring "I want my ring" approximately 47 times in the group chat. The Bunk Era is over. Long live the King (of Mediocre).
David Whitehead
David's second title, and one of the more memorable finals in league history — a shootout featuring a 21-point lead and a heroic Saquon Barkley performance. Robert "snuck into the finals" once again, only to fall short. David's quiet assassin reputation officially confirmed.
Robert Mandarine
The team name said it all. After back-to-back championship game losses ("always next year"), Robert finally broke through. Ended Leighton's deep playoff run in the process — a rare feel-good moment for the rest of the league.
Kyle Williams
Kyle's second title and the cementing of his "quietly dangerous" reputation. While the chat was busy debating whether Tua was actually good, Kyle just kept winning. Tyreek Hill said hello.
Leighton Williams
Leighton's second ring, and possibly the most controversial title in league history. The chat openly demanded an investigation. Robert claimed he was "paid $50 to sit Metcalf." Jeff suggested disqualifying first AND second place and awarding the trophy to third. Champion anyway.
Oren Kanel
The pandemic championship. Oren predicted his own title weeks in advance ("future champ Oren has spoken") and delivered. A fitting team name for a fitting season. Famously drafted his entire roster on his phone in subsequent years and continued to be a threat.
David Whitehead
David's first title and an instant-classic acceptance speech, delivered as a populist manifesto: "This victory isn't just for me, but for the people. We stood up against the tyranny of the commissioner together." The "Anti-Leighton Coalition" was born.
Kyle Williams
Kyle's first championship. The team name aged well — he'd be back to win it again four years later.
Leighton Williams
Leighton's first ring, and the start of his reputation as the league's most "creative" trader. The "no trade with Leighton" rule was unofficially born around this era.
Mike Meservey
Mike's championship run. Recap details lost to time — if anyone has the receipts, drop them in the chat.
Cody Deloach
The inaugural champion of the Thin Blue Line Fantasy Football League. Set the bar with a team name that perfectly captured the league's tone for the next decade.
